Three Things Thursday - 3 Ways to be GREEN in your Kitchen

How can we be green in our kitchens?  Here are three practical ways that are fun and earth-friendly.  Can't get much better than that, right??

1.  How about a silicone baking mat, like this one from Wilton? Instead of buying, using, and throwing away parchment paper and aluminum foil, try this great product.  Durable, reusable, and environmentally friendly... what's not to like, especially if you bake a lot (hmmm... a certain EGS reader I know LOVES to bake chocolate chip cookies, often!).  And while you're checking out their great baking mats, how about a look at the other silicone baking products

2.  Need another idea?  How about bamboo cooking tools? Durable, affordable, sustainable, and eco-friendly!

3.   How about a whole treasure-trove of green resources?  Take a peek at this fantastic resource from planet green, over at discovery.com, with lots of ideas, products, and sources at your cooking fingertips.

Looks like great gift ideas to me....

Happy eating and cooking, friends....
